會找這首歌出來聽，是因為今天在當代館值班時看了一件作品，Paul Wiersbinski的錄像<群體效應>。
那件作品談的是關於人類與社會，以及人們所慢慢建構至今的，極其複雜的現代世界。
作品中提到這首歌的部分，是提到了Lou Reed在17歲的時候，曾被父母強迫進行[電痙攣治療]，目的是希望能改變他的同性戀傾向。因為這個事件，讓他在好幾年以後，寫出了kill your sons這首歌。
這首歌聽起來不會讓人心情變好，但有種迷幻的氣氛把人拉進去。
我似乎能想像自己躺在平台上，然後突然遭受電擊，接著頭昏眼花，眼前一陣白，不知道自己現在在哪，是什麼樣的人?
當然如果真的遭受電擊，那種瞬間的恐懼和衝擊性，應該會噁心到令人難以想像，當下連身為人的基本意識都不一定能保持著。
然而這個電擊的代價，是為了什麼?
在[電痙攣治療]還流行的時代，我相信這件行為並不是為了要謀殺誰，而是希望能[導正]少數人，讓他們變得和大多數的正常群體一般。
消除個體中不利於群體發展的因素，為了整體，拔除特異性，為了和諧。
於是有人發明了電擊器，有人調整和實驗機器效果，有人負責揭發，有人說服群眾說這一切為了真理，或者是欺騙，或者是盲目和愚昧，而有人僅只是袖手旁觀，所以結果是某人被送上那張冰冷的平台。
我想，在現在這個時代，在我們這塊土地上，有許多人是不安地，擔心著未來，懷疑我們的社會是否還有一些公平和正義。
或許今天我們可以逃，明天也可以，後天，大後天，然後一直置身事外地視而不見一切.....
我想說的是，不要殺了我們的孩子，不要給這塊土地的人，在未來只有少得可憐的選項，和坎坷不已的路能走。
真相可能太難以理解，關於我們周遭所有一切事物的真相，那不是誰下台誰道歉就能解決的事，因為可能連那些人都只是扭曲的機器裡，小小的一個零件。
但反之亦然，能夠改變現況的契機，也是可能從某件微小事物開始的。
我不能告訴你什麼是對的，但是我希望你能相信自己的人性和善良，也相信自己還擁有力量，挺身而出去改變一些事。
不要再輕易的接受欺騙，讓謊言家們離開發言台，為了這塊土地的未來。
